The design of the "Dujianfu" project in Dujiangyan is inspired by the theme of diversion, an attribute of the city. Here the turbulent waters of the river are constantly intervened in a restrained diversion. The design absorbs this theme and transfers it to the site, which is located at the junction of Rainbow Avenue and Tianfu Avenue, a dense area of intersection of pedestrian traffic, where a panoramic view of this cultural activity center is faintly visible around the main road. The center takes advantage of its privileged location and its open functional attributes to not only carry the urban cultural character of Dujiangyan, but also to link civic activities to the urban fabric. The center is particularly significant on the level of cultural life. The mission of the cultural activity center is to break this inherent architectural pattern and allow people to communicate with the city, thus connecting to every citizen of its city, which will open up endless possibilities for the future. The desire for diversion is evident in both the design and layout, and there is a dominant flow movement throughout the design, a concept of water flow by analogy with the flow of people that runs throughout the program.
